All settled in my little tropical island : a postcard behind the windows, weekends at the beach and quiet nights at home to read, write and draw.
It's been more than one year since I picked up drawing, and finally I can look at what I do and say "hey, this is rather nice." I still feel like I'm steadily improving day after day, putting new techniques to use, abandoning old ones, starting over, polishing it all, learning and observing. Yet for every door I open there's another one behind it; it's still exciting to unlock the secrets of anatomy, but I'm now looking up the road again and I have to wonder : "how far do I want to walk ?"
All this to say that things are real quiet lately and I can scribble a page or two every night. See you in december for my art's two-year anniversary.
